We have just received in our Montreal showroom carpets that have been inspired from the most expensive rug ever sold in auction history. Here you can see a copy of the Clark Sickle-Leaf carpet sold for over 33.8 million dollars US by Sothebys in New York back in 2013. The original 17th century persian rug was sold to an anonymous buyer via telephone after four bidders fought for it for more than 10 minutes. The buyer is suspected to be of middle eastern descent.
